The Anglican Church has a history stretching back to 597AD when St. Augustine, the first Archbishop of Canterbury established a mission in the south of England. Our Parish stands within that tradition of Anglicanism with the emphasis on traditional teaching, worship and pastoral care. The sacraments, particularly the Eucharist (or the Mass) are at the heart of our parish life. Services are in the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer, and mass on Sundays and other holy days are characterized by choral and ceremonial music.
There are four churches in the Parish; Holy Saviour in Curepe, St. John’s in Petit Bourg, Christ The King in Mt. D’Or, and St. Martin In The Valley in Maracas, St. Joseph. The Parish serves as chaplaincy to five institutions in the area and owns the Holy Saviour Anglican School in Curepe.
In an effort to provide information about God’s Word to parishioners and the wider community, nationally and regionally, and thus foster renewal and spiritual growth, the Parish launched a Radio Ministry. This has resulted in three programs being aired weekly, and one monthly on Inspirational Radio 730 AM.
People, attracted by the traditional liturgy, orthodox teaching and fine music, travel from as far east as Arima, as far west as Diego Martin, and as far south as Chaguanas to worship regularly at our churches. Many others have a link with the Parish through one of the many organizations of the Parish, or the School, or because a significant event at one of the churches has touched their lives. Welcome to the Holy Saviour Parish.

To give honour and glory to God by making disciples of Jesus Christ, empowering them to live according to the principle of God’s kingdom through the ministry and mission of the church.
